Web Photos Wanted
Do you snap digital photos of your child on a field trip or playing sports for Christian Academy and wonder what to do with them? The website is a communication tool for parents and prospective families and we want to include more student activity photos. Send digital files to Website Coordinator for website consideration.
   
Make-Up Days Scheduled for
English Station Elementary and Middle Schools, as well as Rock Creek Elementary
Due to school closings caused by the windstorms in September, the following Christian Academy Kentucky schools must make up instructional time.
  • English Station Elementary is required to make up 12 hours* of instructional time and will be in session on Monday, February 16 (Presidents’ Day) and Wednesday, March 25 (conference day).
  • English Station Middle School is required to make up 12 hours* of instructional time andwill be in session on Monday, February 16 (Presidents’ Day) and Wednesday, March 25 (conference day).
  • Rock Creek Elementary is required to make up 24 hours* of instructional time and will be in session on Monday, February 16 (Presidents’ Day), Wednesday, March 25 (conference day), Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2.

* A full Christian Academy school day has at least 6 hours of instructional time. The c alculation of instructional time does not include lunch, recess, breaks or conferences. Therefore, English Station Elementary and Middle Schools must make up the equivalent of two full days. Rock Creek must make up the equivalent of 4 full days.
