Thank you, Mrs. Kay!
From Moe Lundrigan, Executive Director, Christian Academy School System
I have had the great pleasure of working with many talented and dedicated individuals who have been called to serve the Lord at Christian Academy. Kay Barbour’s bold advocacy of the life-long and Kingdom-building impact Christian education has on a child holds a special place in my heart.
For 42 years, Kay has worked tirelessly to advance the cause of Christian education. She has always kept the spiritual well-being of children foremost in her mind. We have shared laughter, tears and prayer while partnering over the years to ensure as many children as possible are able to attend Christian Academy, regardless of financial resources. Kay’s commitment to children, Christian education and the Lord has been inspirational. She has been a significant contributor to the Ministry Advancement team; therefore, it is with mixed emotions that I share Kay’s decision to resign from her role as Development Director.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to Kay for her many years of service to the Lord and Christian education. At both Graceland Christian School and Christian Academy her selfless dedication and God-honoring contributions to Christian education have positively impacted countless lives for His glory during her time of leadership that will bless generations of families. Christian Academy has been truly blessed by having someone of Kay’s passion, integrity, faith, and unwavering commitment to follow the Lord as part of the team. She will be greatly missed, but we look forward to seeing how God’s plan unfolds, and how He will continue to use Kay and her many gifts as she enters this next season of her life. Please join us as we pray for Kay and her husband, Jeff, as they obediently follow God’s call. We wish Kay and her family the richest of His blessings.
