Internet Speed Upgraded at Every Campus
Christian Academy last week completed Internet connection upgrades from T1 (1.544 Mbit/second) to Metro Ethernet (10 Mbit/second), providing an approximate six-fold speed increase to/from all four campus locations.
The combined Technology/Facilities project involved pulling new underground fiber-optic cable into each building.
Rob Hough, Director of Technology Services, said, "This upgraded infrastructure will create additional possibilities for campus-to-campus and campus-to-world communications, all with the goal of providing 21st Century teaching and learning opportunities for our students."
The Christian Academy School System serves almost 3,000 students in Preschool – 12th grade on four campuses in the Louisville and Southern Indiana area. To schedule a tour, please contact our Admissions Department.
