Christian Author Visits RC Campus
Christian author, Renee Meloche came to CAL Rock Creek on Tuesday, April 13. She held an all school assembly and spoke of great heroes like Gladys Alward and George Mueller. She then held grade level workshops and guided of our fourth and fifth graders to create their own poetry.
I see myself in the mirror
and in my eyes I see no fear.
I hold up my paw, but see a claw
and I think to myself Hurrah!

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
I see none other than me.
It is weird I know; it is sun compared to snow
It is not who I am; it is bacon compared to ham.
I thought I was a cat, but I am much more than that.
I looked in the mirror and what did I see?
I saw a lion and got scared,
but reminded myself it was just me.
