CAI Hosts Special Event For Area Pastors

The eyes of elementary boys and girls were filled with delight as they spotted their pastors when Christian Academy of Indiana hosted 75 local pastors from the Louisville and southern Indiana area.

Pastors received hand written notes from elementary students inviting them to be honored guests for breakfast and a program filled with scripture, prayer and songs designed to emphasize God’s plan for each life. Mrs. Owen, the elementary principal and organizer of the program, invited Pastor Scott Miller from Graceland Baptist Church, and Rev. Shawn Garing from Church on the Rock to share with the children how God had developed His special plan in their lives.

Pastors circled the auditorium at the close and every elementary student shook hands, “high fived,” and yes, even hugged their pastors before they went back to class. WOW! What a blessing to host the spiritual leaders of our community and express our gratitude for the privilege to partner with them in developing students who have a heart for God!
