CAI Alumni Give Back
Homecoming 2009 was a memorable occasion featuring the presentation of a $31,000 check to Christian Academy of Indiana on behalf of the CAI alumni association. CAI alumni chairman, Karla Heinz (class of 1982) presented the check to Kay Barbour, CAI Director of Development, to assist with the building of the outdoor concession/restroom facility on the campus field complex.
Alumni raised funds by sponsoring the first alumni directed “Tee Up Fore Education” golf outing in September 2009 and through alumni directed donations. Bryant Jenkins (class of 1982) served as the chairman of the golf event and plans are already underway for the 2010 golf outing in September.
Since the presentation at homecoming, the amount has escalated to over $43,000. THANKS FOR GIVING BACK, ALUMNI!
